Winery Anthonij Rupert
The Anthonij Rupert WineryThe Anthonij Rupert Winery, which still bears the name of its founder and is now run by younger generations, is one of the most exciting projects in South African viticulture. Whereby one should actually speak in the plural. Some time ago, the Ruperts crossed the boundaries once set by the slopes of the Groot Drakenstein Mountains in Franschhoek and now vinify wine in four different regions.
Anthonij Rupert Wyne is a wine estate situated in the picturesque Franschhoek wine valley in South Africa. Visitor facilities include the Franschhoek Motor Museum and two tasting rooms, each with its own unique offering. A complimentary tram service allows guests to shuttle between these facilities and make a day of their visit without having to drive themselves. Restaurant, wine tasting, museum, high tea service, panoramic tour, farm shop & private dining.

Winemaker: Mark van Buuren
Mark van Buuren is no stranger to the wine industry. His career began at the Hartenberg Winery in Stellenbosch as an assistant to the renowned winemaker Carl Schultz. His commitment and passion for wine and the craft of winemaking led Mark to various wineries in South Africa. At Anthonij Rupert, the internationally experienced winemaker is responsible, among other things, for the white wine varieties of the Cape of Good Hope range, giving it an even higher level thanks to his enormous expertise and down-to-earth nature.
