Winemaker: Louis Strydom
Louis Strydom graduated from Elsenburg College in Stellenbosch . After that he worked several years at Saxenburg Wine Estate. There he traveled to wine regions such as Italy, Germany or USA. He then joined the winery Rust en Vrede in 1989.
He has many awards but left the winery again in 2004 to focus more on the Bordeaux Couvée named Ernie Els to occupy. But also his Ms. Rianie Strydom has been working in the wine industry since 1994. She began her career as a student at the Morgenhof Estate, which she left in 2004, just like Louis, to take on new challenges.
