Winemaker: Boela Gerber
Boela Gerber has been with Groot Constantia since 2001. Groot Constantia recently received a good international exposure when in 2009 the Chardonnay won the award "Best White" and the Shiraz 2008 the "Best Red" at the LaRevue de Vin de France Classic Wine Trophy.
Boela's approach to winemaking is minimalist, and he believes that the real challenge in winemaking is to find the Climate and the soil and to understand this in its unique and expressive Implement crying.
