Winery Morgenster
The winery Morgenster is a small jewel in the Sommerset West region. Close to the Atlantic Ocean, at the foot of a mountain, only 74 hectares of the 200-hectare estate are planted with vines and olive trees. In addition to the outstanding view, the winery is especially known for its authentic and complex wines.
In the 1990s, Giulio Bertrand took a pioneering role in South Africa with his Morgenster winery, paving the way for olive oil culture in South Africa at the time with his innovative concept of growing olives alongside wine in the Cape. Morgenster offers olive oil t asting in addition to the classic wine tasting.
The flagship wine of the winery is the Morgenster Estate Reserve, which has already received numerous awards and is appreciated by wine lovers around the world.
